HEALTHeLINK is a collaboration among hospitals, physicians, health plans and other health care providers to securely exchange clinical information to improve the quality of care, enhance patient safety and mitigate health care costs. HEALTHeLINK, a not-for-profit organization, is the Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO) for Western New York.

Application Description:
The portal provides a single sign-on with two-factor user authentication and access to HEALTHeLINK. For providers with credentials, the HEALTHeCOMMUNITY Portal can also provide access to the New York State Department of Health Health Commerce System where providers can access the I-STOP application to see a patient’s history of prescriptions for controlled substances. The single sign-on provides ease of access, eliminating the need to enter credentials multiple times, while providing security and assurance that a user accessing clinical information is authorized to do so. To the community providers, the portal provides a single location for secure access to a variety of health care applications hosted by multiple entities.
Veracode Verified Standard represents that the following application security practices are embedded into the software development process:
- Assessment of first-party code using static analysis
- Documentation that the application does not allow Very High flaws in its first-party code
- Developer access to remediation guidance Verified Standard is the first of three (3) tiers representing the Verified program.

The Veracode Verified directory is an online platform that enables you to view a list of companies that are in the Verified program. The companies provide applications or solutions created by such third-party companies (“Third-Party Offerings”).
