Business Continuity During the COVID-19 Outbreak – We Are Here to Help

Enabling our customers to create software quickly and securely has always been our mission, and it remains so today. While the safety and health of our employees is a top priority right now, so is the health of our customers’ software, especially considering some of the industries they support. We need to keep the health care providers and their systems secure and operational, protect the farmers and their technology that delivers food supplies, and ensure the financial firms’ applications aren’t vulnerable. Every company in every industry needs to have a solid digital experience in this environment, and we’re here to help our customers shore up existing systems and help create new ones quickly and securely.

We are honored that customers around the world look to Veracode as a strategic partner, and we take those partnerships very seriously. All of our technology and services have been digital since we were founded in 2006. Therefore, as you activate your digital preparedness plans, Veracode is here to support you in making sure you do so securely. We’ve outlined below how Veracode will continue to seamlessly support our customers, plus additional support we have put in place. We want our customers to continue to change the world through their software while we ensure they do it securely.

The technology is always on and always being updated with no interruption to our customers’ daily activities:

Veracode’s entire solution is built for scale in the cloud. Our Static Analysis, Dynamic Analysis, Software Composition Analysis, eLearning, Security Labs, and IAST offerings are all SaaS and require minimal to no installation.

All our product lines require zero effort from our customers to continue to get their weekly releases and product updates. As you can see from our release notes, our customers continue to get updates to our product line on a weekly basis: Release Notes

In addition, we have recently released a new Pipeline Scan available to all existing Static Analysis customers at no additional charge. To learn more, please see our blog post. This innovative technology will allow our existing customers to scan as they build applications in the fast-paced digital world. We know speed is of the essence right now as companies become more digital than ever before. Please reach out to your Security Program Manager to start utilizing this new technology today.

We are an extension of your team:

We know many of our customers will have team members who need more flexibility in their schedules, need to care for their loved ones, or may even have to take temporarily leave for childcare or other personal reasons.

Veracode provides a full staff of program managers, security consultants, pen testers, technical support, and staff. Here is how you can utilize them:

We moved to WFH to ensure the safety of our team and business continuity:

Veracode maintains a comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plan. We take pride in our ability to provide external customers and our internal workforce with critical services designed to be fault-tolerant and achieve high levels of uptime. We have been prepared to respond to any event that limits Veracode’s team members’ ability to travel or gather, as well as deal with the potential of reasonable percentages of staff being unavailable. Our workforce is highly mobile and ready to function in a geographically decentralized fashion. All team members have been provided tools to allow effective remote work, as well as the ability to meet and collaborate virtually.

Here is a great blog post on the WFH experience from the Veracode team. We went fully remote without a hiccup in mid-March. Thanks to our IT and HR teams for having the proper systems in place to make this happen so easily and quickly. Our internal employee survey about the WFH experience has been 99 percent positive!

Stay safe, stay healthy, and know that we’re standing by, ready to support you.
