RSS Feeds

RSS (Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary) is a way for web sites to summarize their content, such as blogs, news, events and press releases, and deliver headlines, descriptions, and links for quick and easy access to the information you want most. The information is delivered through a "feed." The feeds are collected by an RSS newsreader application.

An RSS newsreader, sometimes called a news aggregator, sets up an automated delivery of information (a feed) to your desktop. It lets you read the information in the same newsreader interface. A newsreader may also help organize feeds for easy referral.

Many web browsers, including Mozilla's Firefox and Apple's Safari (Mac OSX 10.4 Tiger only) browsers, can read and display RSS feeds.
