Paul Roberts is an experienced technology writer and editor began his reporting career as a U.S. Correspondent for the IDG News Service. He has spent the last decade covering hacking, cyber threats and information technology security, including senior positions as a writer, editor and industry analyst. Most recently, Paul served as editor of Threatpost.com and a Security Evangelist for Threatpost’s corporate parent, Kaspersky Lab. He spent three years covering the enterprise IT security space as a Senior Analyst in The 451 Group’s Enterprise Security Practice and worked as an editor and senior writer for InfoWorld Magazine and Ziff Davis’s eWeek. Prior to donning a reporter’s cap, Paul spent eight years working in the high tech field as a technical writer, trainer and communications specialist for firms including Cisco Systems, Logica and SteelPoint Technologies (now part of Autonomy). Paul is frequently interviewed about trends within the cyber security space.
