Veracode is looking for a full-time Content Marketing Specialist to help execute on our content marketing strategy. This role reports to the Director, Corporate Marketing and is based in our Burlington, MA office.
The right candidate will be a mix of marketer and communicator. He or she will plan and execute on the quarterly content strategy targeting our developer practitioners and managers with a variety of awareness and conversion content. The objective of this role is to create content that provides developers and their managers with information and tools to better understand secure development best practices. The right candidate will possess strong writing skills as well as the ability and desire to understand the challenges and best practices of secure development. This person will also be able to communicate orally and in writing to internal audiences about their content strategy and collaborate with team members across the organization – such as developers, subject matter experts, and the full marketing team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Writing content for a variety of formats, from whitepapers to blog posts and social media content
- Develop quarterly content plans and execute on those plans
- Strict attention to detail and deadlines
- Manage third-party agencies such as writers, bloggers and graphic design firms
- Other responsibilities as needed
- 5-7 years’ experience in content marketing, marketing or communications
- Strong writing and editing skills (writing samples required)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalist, PR, English or related fields.
- Desire to understand content marketing as well as the application security industry
