Veracode will soon be launching an online community to give our customers fast and convenient access to AppSec-related content, and the opportunity to share knowledge with other developers and security practitioners.
Today, when customers have questions, you can access the Veracode Platform Help Center, contact our technical support team, or contact your program manager for assistance. Bringing these different support options together in a single community is what you have asked for, and we believe the Customer Community will give you greater value in your AppSec programs.
Our new Customer Community will provide access to product documentation, integration and remediation guidance, answers to frequently asked questions, and opportunities to collaborate with peers from 1,400+ customer organizations. You will still have the option to engage with our support team for technical questions or our Application Security Consulting team for remediation coaching.
The goal of the new Community is to:
1. Provide faster access to information needed to help you secure your software
2. Enable peer-to-peer learning on best practices
3. Encourage collaboration with us on solution improvements
Whether you are a developer or a security practitioner, you’ll be able to engage with your peers through discussion forums, give us your input and ideas on product direction, and participate in community events.
In my previous role as a Veracode Security Program Manager, I saw how access to information and advocacy among peers improved adoption of security tools and processes. As your Community Manager, I look forward to helping you leverage the different features of the Community to find answers to your questions faster.
