Veracode Co-founder and CTO Chris Wysopal Named SANS Security Thought Leader

Wysopal to speak at SANS AppSec 2010 and RSA Conference on Securing Software during Development and Creating an Industry Software Whitelist

Burlington, Mass. – February 1, 2010 – Veracode Inc., provider of the world’s leading Application Risk Management Services Platform, today announced that Chris Wysopal, co-founder and CTO, was named to the SANS Security Thought Leader program. The SANS Thought Leader program was initiated three years ago by Stephen Northcutt, president of the SANS Technology Institute, who also maintains the SANS Leadership Laboratory. Those chosen for the Thought Leadership interview series have made a major contribution to the field of information security and have helped create the products that protect information resources. Wysopal was selected due to his pioneering development and improvement of application security testing as well as his on-going research within the industry.
