Culture Club

We are growing fast and working hard, so we make it a priority to infuse energy and fun in everything we do. The Culture Club is a group of Veracode employees that are our “ambassadors of fun” and help create programs, parties and other activities to channel our enthusiasm for Veracode.

Veracode Hackathon

At Veracode, we believe in growing the innovative spirit of our employees. To help us achieve that, and have some fun, in December we had our first Hackathon. Our employees spent three days working on 20+ projects that interested and excited them—everything from feature additions, process improvements and code visualizations to wearable technology. The event was an opportunity for employees to learn a new technology, work on something outside of their day to day job responsibilities and grow their business skills. Learning Group

The Learning Group was established as a way for Veracoders to share knowledge and cross-pollinate ideas with other functional areas within the company. The group meets once a week to test-drive concepts and engage in creative problem solving. Topics covered have included malware analysis, reverse engineering, and exploitation. We’re open for learning about and working on anything, even if it isn’t work related.

Buddy Program

To ensure that our new hires are set up for success, we have established a Buddy Program. This program matches a new hire with an existing employee who, is another resource to introduce the new hire to others, provide information, and proactively check in and provide assistance when needed.

404 Club

Every Friday, our employees gather at 4:04 p.m. for refreshments as an opportunity to collaborate on ideas, mingle with coworkers and share some laughs. Can you guess how 404 got its name? (Hint…it’s not just about the time of day).

Our employees work hard and can build up an appetite doing so. We make sure they are well fed with a wide variety of drinks, snacks and breakfasts to keep them fully charged.

Would you like an extra $2,500 in your pocket? Refer a friend to join our team and you could collect a bounty! Here are the details:

  1. Email your friend's resume to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it before March 31, 2012 with "Friends of Veracode Referral" in the subject line. (Don't forget to include your own contact details so that we know who to thank.)
  2. You'll get the bounty after your friend has been working full time as a Veracode employee for 30 days.

The Fine Print:

  1. The US government and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will want their share of the bounty... if you receive the $2,500, you'll have to complete a W9 form and pay applicable taxes.
  2. Knowing how smart your friends are — they may have already found their way into our system! Your friend needs to be a new applicant, and not have found his/her way to us previously. Likewise, we cannot pay a fee for former employees of Veracode wishing to return.
  3. We know you have an abundance of friends - refer as many of them as you can. Keep in mind if they are that smart, someone else may have referred your buddy to us first. If that happens, the friend with the earliest referral wins the bonus.
  4. The friend that you refer to us must be hired within 180 days of your initial contact email.
