Tim Jarrett, Director of Product Management

Tim Jarrett is director of product management at Veracode, where he is responsible for the user experience and product direction of Veracode’s SaaS-based application security platform and Veracode’s static binary analysis technology. He joined Veracode in 2008.

With over fifteen years in the software industry, his past experience includes product management roles at iET Solutions, where he introduced the company’s CMDB Discovery Intelligence federated configuration management database solution; Microsoft, where he launched analytics and community products on the world’s third-most-visited website; and American Management Systems (now CACI), where he was a lead developer and architect on the DOD-wide Standard Procurement System. Tim has spoken at numerous IT related events including the Pink Elephant IT Service Management Conference and is a co-author of Veracode’s State of Software Security Report.

Tim celebrated his 10th anniversary as a blogger in 2011; he has covered a variety of technology and non-technology topics at various blogs over the last decade.

Tim has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS in Physics from the University of Virginia. In his spare time, he performs with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, the official chorus of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He can be heard on the BSO’s Grammy-award winning 2009 recording of Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloe.
