Seksom Suriyapa Seksom Suriyapa, senior vice president of business development, is responsible for driving Veracode’s global business development strategy, including opportunities with outsourcing providers, managed security service providers and system integrators. With over 10 years of experience working with enterprise software companies, he brings strong market understanding and expertise to Veracode. Suriyapa’s most recent position in the software industry was serving as senior vice president of business development at Webroot Software, Inc., where he was responsible for driving Webroot’s strategic direction and the development of the company’s key distribution and product partnerships in the enterprise and consumer spaces. Prior to joining Webroot, Suriyapa served as the senior vice president of corporate development at McAfee, where he was a key member of the Global Management Team. During his three years at McAfee, Suriyapa was a key driver of the strategic repositioning of McAfee as the leading publicly-traded pure play security vendor, leading all M&A and divestiture activity, as well as playing a key role in defining McAfee’s overall corporate strategy. In addition to working on the company's acquisition and divestiture activities, Suriyapa developed strategic alliances and guided the evaluation of minority investments in complementary technology companies. Suriyapa also has significant financial sector experience. In addition to recently serving as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Mayfield Fund, he worked for leading investment banks, including Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, where he led financings and provided advisory services for a broad range of clients. Suriyapa has an MBA degree from INSEAD Business School, a JD from Stanford Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College. |
